Abstract

|
Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) is an emerging and potentially life-threatening tick-borne virus
disease in Korea. It can be presented with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) as severe complicated cases. Here, we report two cases of SFTS associated HLH patients fully recovered with steroids and conservative treatment, even
though they had high risk factors of poor prognosis.
